Even as the leaves fall, and the clocks change the garden progresses.
We are delighted with the difference and are excited to see how the planting matures over the next year.
The buddy bench is already proving popular, and I am sure that all those who use it are grateful to the ‘Rapid Relief Team‘ charity which provided the funding.
We have also received funding from the Leigh Foundation, which will allow the children from All Saints’ to take part in an art project which will be displayed in the garden. This is definitely a case of “watch this space”!
It was also great to have the Guides involved in some strategic and enthusiastic bulb planting which will bring some welcome spring colour to the garden.
There is still a lot to do in other areas of the garden, but the volunteers are full of great ideas and loads of enthusiasm for the coming year.
To finish I would like to say that we have all been very grateful for the very positive comments, support and thanks that the volunteers have received from both villagers and passers-by.
